Mystics do her pretty easy as well. One RC is enough for the normals, some times two or three for the "paragon" ones. I usually lead her part way out to make looting easier.

Ok, I was reading on Stratics on what they call a Sampire template:

Is this what people refer to as a necrodexer?

Damien, if you wouldn't mind typing up how to kill Miasma, I'd sure appreciate it, too.

I will post my complete template as well...it is a standard dexxer pvm template...most pvm warrior templates will be similar...I get off of work at 8pm tonight and will try to remember to do this for you...

PM Sent. :)

And I tried to kill it with my tamer, so I wasn't even thinking of warrior-type tactics. I need to rework my warrior though, I think. He was quite the man back in the day, but I see warriors now do stuff he cant even dream of. He is a classic template of GM swords, tactics, parry, focus, healing, anatomy, and resist spells. Ok, so focus is new since I came back, since that didn't exist yet back then. I didn't really want to add it but found that I couldn't keep up any stamina without it. Healing is the only one not GM--it is at 90. It is set to raise but has been the slowest. But those ten points plus the 15 given to me for being a vet let me keep 25 points in magery and thus cast recall with some jewelry.

I haven't done any power scrolls because I don't know what's worth doing and I'm already out of points to spend... I'm thinking maybe resist and parry need to go away in favor of more flexible skills? And I hear there are spells you can cast with chivalry or something to do recall so you don't need magery at all? I have much more reading to do.

Ok, I think I am done thoroughly derailing this thread...for now.

I am using my swordsman...120 swords, parry...100 anat tactics bushido and some healing and chiv...the key is to honor her and use a scorpion slayer weapon...I will write up a step by step instruction later...pm me to remind me if you really want to know or I will forget...it really isn't too hard once you figure her out...hehe...she is nothing like the stygian i'll bet

How do you (successfully) kill miasma? I get my booty handed back to me on a platter...

Post by Damien Kilcannon » Mon Jul 05, 2010 10:56 am

I think I am going to start working this one again...I gave up on unravelling when I got to about 67 or so I think...gonna go hunt some miasmas and stock up on chests again...lol

When I made 120 I also did some housecleaning. A good example of stuff to clean out is a chest full of LRC armor. It is so easy to imbue a full suit, there's no reason to keep all that junk.
And yet I do still have a chest of lrc items!

Post by Maldar » Fri Jul 02, 2010 11:20 pm

I have so much that every time I think I will unravel them, I look around at all of the junk in my three houses and decide to "do it some other day." (That day is yet to come....)

Post by Warden » Fri Jul 02, 2010 9:33 pm

Hmmm, yeah, that's a motivating thought, Cerberus. I have way too much of that "just in case" crap filling up chests in my house.

Post by Cerberus A » Fri Jul 02, 2010 5:07 pm

Way to go. First thing I did when I hit the 120 mark with my imbuer was to trash all the "junk" I'd been holding on too "just in case". Cleaned out a TON of lockdowns that way. Heh.

it was slow but steady, especially with the skill tutor in my backpack, because everything I did was at "optimal" for skill gains.

Got to 120 the other day.

Cool, sounds like this is going relatively quickly. I just started imbuing a couple of days ago and was hoping it wouldn't be incredibly slow to gain.

thanks, this is still working for me, applying luck. I moved up to horned kits and the items are much less costly to imbue luck on them. Up to 112 now and still cranking away in spurts. When I get 15 min I run in and try to get as many gains as I can, then back to RL etc.
