Had to poke fun at the divorce lawyer ;) We missed seeing you and a few others at the party last night, for all that missed it, not only did we have Santa there, but special guest Queen Mum and her cookies. Only she and her cookies could get Santa to a PAS party this early before the big day. There was, of course, King David (KD) telling his stories of the old day of the People Army of Sonoma. Chalnoth did a trivia contest, prizes and/or cash rewards were handed out to each winner. Queen Mum spoke of some of the histories of Sonoma as well as the future, (Chocolate chip cookies coming soon!). Still, tiger you should have been there to get that sack of coal, hard to heat up that castle with no women allowed there.

Merry Christmas to all, and to all have a safe and enjoyable holiday.

I had one character, a thief, with negative karma on Napa Valley shard a long time ago, and he got the lump of coal at Christmas from UO. It was a very rare item at the time, but I ended up giving it to our Cross Shard Alliance (CSA) ally on Napa.

The CSA was a lot of fun. For newer members of PAS, we sought out guilds like PAS on other shards, and ended up with 6 or 7 CSA allies. We had our players attend guild meetings on other shards (which was a learning experience), and they came to PAS meetings on Sonoma. We also had the Napa Valley CSA guild host a cross shard event where CSA guild members created new characters on Napa and the Napa folks supplied us with items to do events.

On Sonoma, we hosted a pirate cross shard event. CSA guild members created new chars with pirate names, and we supplied them with cutlasses, bandanas, and other pirate looking items, along with gm made purple pots (explosion). We gated them to Bucs Den fel and had them drag chests around filled with gold, pretending that they landed and were burying their loot. At that time, Bucs Den had a decent number of pvpers that hung out and fought there. We gated in about 25 CSA members, and PAS went along to heal and otherwise help them. They talked like pirates, threatened the pvpers, and then all of them started chunking purple pots. It was amazing chaos and they were able to kill a few pvpers.

The pvpers loved getting the gold and asked us to do that event more often (so they could get rich rofl).

It was fun, but over time, the CSA allies faded away as guilds, and we ended up as the last CSA guild still standing (sad ending to the story). but it was a blast while it lasted.

A PAS Christmas Party

Egg Nog, cookies, trivia contest, give away, war stories of the glory days of Sonoma from the one and only King David (PAS), presents exchanged and the big man himself, yep you guessed it “Santa Claus”. When and where was this you ask? Last night in Luna at the PAS Auction/market house.

Queen Mum was there as well, who do you think brought all those cookies. She was also the one that did all the decorations on the roof of the PAS Auction house for this party.

Santa has been very busy this month there was a huge block party at Zento this month (December 9th) where he and his elves passed out gifts to all present then to come to Luna last night for the PAS Christmas party.

Chalnoth did a trivia contest, a lot of very hard questions, that did require many if not all of us to put on the old thinking cap, many of an answer (some wrong) were shouted out its a wonder that poor Chalnoth (and the rest of us) are not deaf this day.

Gifts were exchanged by all there, Drakelord had a giveaway of a mounted Dread Horn, using the lucky dealer the highest person winning. SWEAVER GAL took the prize with her high score of 81.

The show stopper was Santa passing out gifts to all that were present. His last words before he left, Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!
