Slime Sightings

Postby Endrik » Thu Dec 18, 2008 2:05 pm

I was thinking it would be nice if we had a post to check for Slime locations during this event. If you see or hear of slime locations, please take a minute to post it here with the day and time so that anybody who is interested can quickly locate them and take part in this event. Thanks.

I was thinking the same thing :)

Ill be ingame scouting for most of the rest of the day, and Ill post any sightings here. I guess the color they are would also be nice to report, since they are supposed to be in one place for 2 days, then spawn a diff color in another place for 2 days etc etc.

no ones seen anything all day.

Supposedly, slimes spawn ingame for 2 days at a random location, of a certain color. You kill them, keep them, use them and they are like tokuno small pigments and can dye something.

Then when 2 days are up they spawn a diff color in a diff location.

thats what Ive seen so far, this is so new that we cant confirm any of this yet though.

They can be found at the West Brit Farm Fields. Mostly just normal blah colors at the moment, but there are 4-8 of them there.

They dye the basins from the quest giver Lyla (not sure name is correct) right?

We get other dyes to keep as well?

Has anyone figured out the questing yet?

Those suckers are fast and dismount and reveal constantly, so be prepared to run ALOT!

Using KR I wasn't able to get 'use last object' to work, and was told wasn't working in 2D either. I did find in KR the 'Use Targeted Object' works, so if I kept the one targeted I wanted I was able to run and hit that macro and 'target last object' to quickly dye the 80 items i went in there to get done (missed Tokuno event and too cheap to buy dyes), with a 3rd macro setup to use a dagger to target the next item I wanted to dye.

I was able to get the quest done and dye a couple pieces of my armor. I noticed that I wasn't taking any damage except for the poisoning so it didn't seem to bad. I'm going to try to go again so I can get stuff for the museum.

Yeah, the poisoning didn't even cause damage to me unless I recalled away while still poisoned then I took damage.

New location.. Exodus Dungeon far West of the entrance.. BE CAREFUL they do damage you now plus the real danger of the paragon overseer and minions.

I think I saw one that was neon green, although it didn't say any special name like the light olive and dark blue have been, but was chased out before I could try and dye anything from it.

I found Slimes at the very back of the Tokuno Mines. This is back where you find the Fire Beetle. January 2, 2009 10:00 Pac
