I just realized I have over 5,000 posts at these forums now. If anyone is interested, you can click members link above the forums, then click on posts at the top of the list twice to sort it by largest numbers to smallest numbers of posts. I think these forums had to be rebuilt around 2006, so the post counts are only from then till now.

No telling how many some of us old folks may have had if we were able to keep all forum posts from day 1 in 1998 until now.

Wow, that is really neat! I'm only 4th on the list of posters with numbers of posts. Just a babe, with less than 2,000 posts, compared to KD with 5000 posts!

I remember Malachai and someone else posting a lot of short posts because they were fighting it out for who had the most posts. it got real silly for awhile.

true, silly typically lasts forever on someone, especially PAS members

The bunch of short posts were calendar events. If you remember, before Ghost fixed it, each calendar event was a separate post.

I'm not about to claim I didn't enjoy seeing the post count go up, but moving over the last few months' worth of events gave continuity at the time, and that is a big part of the reason my post count is so high. But it wasn't entirely useless posting.

I also contributed to almost every thread for a while there because I was basically living on this game anytime I wasn't at work. So I had my hands in a lot of proverbial pies, so to speak.

There was a junk thread where Dara and I were posting for post's sake as well because he cared about post count, but Ghost deleted the thread and gave a warning. Lol

thats right, it was Dara!

I couldnt think who else was doing the posting challenge. All for fun of course.
