Blacksmithy Recipes obtained from Doom Dungeon Gauntlet

Britches of Warding
Gloves of Feudal Grip

Atlantic they going for over 170 million and I am not about to pay that much. We had one PAS member asking today if there was anyone that could make these items since neither of my 120 smiths has these recipes they cannot.

I'm down for a run too. I heard the bosses got beefed up, I'd like to collect a few death robes for the cost of one skull.

Back in my day people used to park chars in doom and leave them there for months at a time.... Do folks still do that?

I dont remember to repair nearly as much back then though.

I agree that we should get as many of these as possible.

Our last two attempts to take out Dark Fathers have been unsuccessful even though we bring a ton of firepower. We breeze through the Gauntlet so I'm sure we can take out DF with a better plan.

It seems like the swarm that accompanies DF is our downfall; taking down our bards and tamers. Maybe more dexers to take on the swarm? Fire teams? I don't know what would work best. Most of my experience prior to joining PAS was with pick up groups so I don't know. PAS has lots of experience with group events and teamwork. We can do this.

Dark Fathers must die!

Oh also... just give every damn archer your bring a pair of stone boots so they can't move... so many deaths in doom runs caused by archers running at the first sight of something coming their way.

Good stuff here

my thoughts after 2 doom fights with DFs (some echo the thoughts on Drakelord's link:

1. Stand still as long as possible.
2. Many tamers.
3. At least one tank.
4. 2 melee guys with area affect weps and/or area effect special moves (to kill spawn when it comes up).
5. At least 1 heal/cure/invis mage supporting anyone aggro'd on by spawn.
6. One designated lurer to bring DF to the team after they rubber band to middle.

We have plenty of firepower, and area effect melee guys won the day at the brit invasion years ago, since our mages were very limited in what they could throw due tom the spawn being in town. Once we had 3-4 melee guys with pixie swatters running around as a group, the spawn fell fast and we gradually backed it north and out of town, where our mages cleaned their clocks.
