im curious to know, if anyone knows where i can get a good .wmv file movie player so i can watch the movies i download from torrents... i used to have one on my computer and lost it and im completely lost in finding one.... also i was curious if anyone knows how dvd shrink works and which would be the most effective and where can i download it from =) would be much appreciated

Real Player plays .wmv, but it sucks.
Macromedia Flash Player also plays .wmv, but it sucks as well.
WinAmp is awesome and plays .wmv files.
windows media player also does, and depending on what version you have it could suck or be really good.
That's just the players I have on my computer that play that format. Try downloading a few for free and see which you like best.
Don't know where to download something? Try googling it.

dvd shrinks, Is a nifty program that shrinks the dvd that mostly that is 8 Gigs to around 4 gigs of normal dvd blanks that people buy, there are 8 Gigs ones and so but they cost a whole lot more
I use dvd shrink to shrink the movie and dvd decryption for cracking and burning on blank dvd

I see -- when you shrink them can you still play them in the dvd player and see it normal. I have about 300 VHS I want to transfer over after the taxes come in.

we let someone borrow a couple of our purchased DvDs, only to lose them when the cases were returned with no DVD inside, and we did not check them when they came back, so we like to see about copying ours to blanks so when family wish to borrow a movie they get a copy not one we paid for. What is a good program that I can use on my PC?

awsome yea my windows media player was outdated but i got winvideo from the store i work at =) works fine.. as for the dvd shrink i still havent found one that i understand how to use yet im having trouble converting it from a shrunk dvd to burning it it only reads it as data so yea... oh well ill keep working on it =) thanks for the advice and hopefully ill be able to get back online sometime this year.....
