I Wonder if this can be done with Ignots also... I think I have seen them being sold as rares. I thank you though, for educating us on this trick.

You can still dye special wood (oak, ash etc) with tokuno dyes as well. So those folks selling 2 dyed boards stacks for like 100-250k dont (if you have dyes). So you can dye a stack of large stack of boards (not regular boards). I dont think you can craft from the dye wood, but its then deco I guess.

No you can't do it with the ingots -- there is a rare drop of one that is different facing. It's not really rare either but the only way to get it is to get the daily rare.
