Here is what Draconi had to say about Blackrock today...
guess I will ask the obvious question:
What do you do if you have no blackrock? never had any? never mined any up?
Enjoy the event! Having blackrock on the initial event is fun because of what happens to you if you carry it in the second, and had it in the first.
Having blackrock, in general, in the second, helps with some of the challenges you might face. Not having any won't stop you from owning up the place.

Tonight event is nothing more then setting the stage for tomorrow events, they will [mage and his assitant] do their things, start the machine it will turns a few times then quit, they will leave. That will be all tonight. I sat in on a eastern shard this evening and watch the show, no fighting just some chat from the two NPCs and no blackrock seen, however I suggest you bring it anyway.
If you miss tonights event you can still be a part of the event tomorrow. Good luck folks, and if I'm not to tired I may be there to watch.

All six threads as far as I know, three of Fate, three of Life and the cloak. Got alot of the Plane swords and shields as well.

Lord Drakelord: All six threads as far as I know, three of Fate, three of Life and the cloak. Got alot of the Plane swords and shields as well.

I got the threads off Dark Wisps I killed in Battle on Glow. I got the cloak from the Shadowlord, [only the top three attackers will get one]. The Planeswords & Planeshields we are looting off the angel like beasts.

Tip for fighting the dark wisps, take blackrock. It allows you to do damage (at least melee) when they have that shield barrier up. Without the blackrock in your pack you can't hurt them in that state.
