Soloed the Stygian Dragon!
Posted: Sun Feb 21, 2010 6:49 pmAfter we killed the Stygian with some ease last time I thought I'd try going solo with my archer.
120 bushido
120 tactics
120 archery
110 anatomy
100 heal
70 chiv
100 focus
(suit adds about 50 skill points)
With a imbued Composite bow
Dragon Slayer
45 mana leech
balanced
10 ssi
45 di
Best way to do it was to go to the balcony on the right side of room, there is 2 teleporters connecting and you can "bounce" back and forth thru the teleporters. This keeps the stygian moving in the middle and not right on your heels. Now I alternated hitting him with Armor ignore and Lightning strikes. Died a few times from him double firebreathing but with ankh in the room was no big deal. Ill try to add some screenshots after i get them labeled to show key spots.
And of course....not a single artie on him. Just the head and some magic loots.
