Stratics and UO Forums have joined together to jointly sponsor a home decorations contest for the holiday season. Grab your holiday décor chests and summon your creative spirit and join us in decking the halls!
Entries open today and end December 15th at midnight. A joint judging committee will judge the houses and the winners will be announced on December 20th.
Prizes for the contest are as follows!
- 1st Place - Cloth Map of Sosaria and 30 day Ultima Online Game Time Code
- 2nd Place - Cloth Map of Sosaria and 1 each 9th Anniversary Heritage Token
- 3rd Place - Cloth Map of Sosaria and 1 each UO Spring Decoration Token.
You can make your entry for the contest in Stratics Homes and Castles Forum, or in the UO Forums Holiday Home Contest forum. To enter you just need to make a post in the thread/forum giving us your:
- Home Shard,
- House coordinates/Facet
- Screen Pictures of your house.
- Your contact information
Rules:
- The picture must be of the area to be judged, no paper dolls, spell icons or anything else cluttering the screen.
- The deadline for submission is Dec 15, 11:59 pm U.S. Eastern time zone, 4:59 a.m. GMT. The contest will begin accepting submissions Dec 1, 2006.
- You may submit any number of pictures of your Ultima Online Home.
- Only one entry per person is allowed. Multiple entries will disqualify all entries.
- Contact information such as ICQ/Valid email Address must be provided.
- All Entries must be on EA/OSI Shards. No free shard submissions will be accepted.
- We reserve the right to request a viewing of the entry to ensure ownership.
- Staff members of UOForums/Stratics are not allowed to participate.
- All entries must comply with the UO TOS and ROC.
- Anything deemed obscene, lewd, pornographic, or in bad taste in any way will be disqualified.
- All entries will be judged by a panel of judges from Stratics and UOForums staff.
- The contest is open to any registered member of Stratics, or UOForums registered member regardless of post count.
- The winners will be announced on Dec 20, 2006.
- Houses must be set to public access during the judging period.
- Due to prizes, top winners may be requested to provide their name and mailing address.
