Good day all!

Today we're going to learn how to post screenshots that only include the applicable information that you're trying to share.

Note, this is for windows only, I'm not even sure how to operate a Mac anymore, so you're on your own there, feel free to provide your own tips if you're on Mac.

Step 1) There are a couple of ways to go about this, but the easiest is a way that Cinderella pointed out to me a while back. Just press the windows key, the shift key, and s key all at once. This will darken your screen and allow you to select the area you wish to share.
Step 2) Paste (either ctrl and v or right click, paste image) into Discord
Step 3) ????
Step 4) Profit!

Compare the following images:

Say I wanted to share the banner on the PAS page. I could press print screen and paste it into Discord, like this:

Or I can use the method above, which shows this:

Image.

This is a lot smaller of an area of focus, wouldn't you agree?

The best part is that this even works with UO, no additional tools required.

In short, PLEASE stop posting your entire screen when you're trying to share a much smaller portion of it.

Thank you,
Dara, X, Xinith, That Prick, etc.

Drakelord does your program automatically save the screen multiple times?
like if we are at an EM event and want to take screenshots (without being in EC).
then I could take unlimited screenshots and edit later.
And are they easy to find? (whats saved)

the method Dara posted, is much easier if you want to share something quick.
you just snip on your screen and share with the group.
I do it so people know what i'm talking about.

I got curious, so I downloaded it. There does appear to be an option to set the capture key to a hotkey that can be pressed and all the images will be stored till you get to them
