Fishing Net Question

At the last two Fishing Frenzies, I've thrown 8 white nets and only received 1 minor artifact. Out of those nets two other people got artifacts too. My question is - Is it worth trying to make up a luck suit to increase the odds of getting a minor artifact ?

The fishing faq says that the person who casts the net has a 1 in 4 chance of getting a marty, and then if they don't get one they have a 1 in 16 chance to do so from the damage they do to the Leviathan. The group did a great job of keeping me alive and I thought I got some good hits on the Leviathan.

I'm kinda greedy, and I think for the amount of work it takes to get those nets, the reward should be higher :P Then we have cool stuff to roll for at the end of the event.

It has been my experience with fishing, casting nets (both the green and the other colors) that the loot is far from equitble for the amount of time it takes to even acquire the items. The green nets give far less "loot" than the SOS's though the chances of getting a SOS" in a bottle is pretty good if you pull up a Krakken. Otherwise the loot is minimal...can get more from an orc.

Fishing was once a very desired profession with the ability to sustain a character in profit. Now it is at times not worth the effort to train up, unless you just like to fish.

Pulling up SOS's is alot of fun to do and quite easy. The skill required to do so isn't that bad. It would be nice if they were on par with T-maps in the effort for aquistion as well as the loot gained.
