I don't think the lumberjacking bonus even still works. I think that got pulled with publish 17, but stratics never updated. I may be wrong, but one way to test it to see if it counts as a lumberjacking weapon is to put it in your hand, go to a tree, double click the axe and target the tree. If it gives you kindling, then no. If you hear yourself swing at the tree (and hit), then it's lumberjacking.
But I'm pretty sure Talon Bite is a fancy name for a specific Ornate Axe, which is an Axe, used by lumberjacks the world over... Basically yes I think it is a lumberjack weapon but no I don't think you still get the lumberjack bonus from it, or any other lumberjack weapons.
Ouch! I hope that isn't true (the part about no LJ bonus anymore. ) UO.com playguide still says there is a bonus. I will have to run some tests with the old soulstone and see what happens. I will check the tree thing to see if I can chop! Thanks, Eldritch of Sonoma

Damage increase - cap is 100%. LJ bonus is 30% of that.
Spell Damage Increase - cap is 15% (PvP). Scribe bonus is 10%, or 66.67% of the current cap. SDI bonus from scribe is a bigger bonus, since it is a larger percentage of the cap. I think that was what xare was saying.
I can't find it and see references to a 5-6 point increase in damage. Argg, did they change it back? Was 30% before AOS and they dropped it to 5%. I know that, but can't find a reference.
Guess I'm wrong. Does anyone have LJ on a stone and can test it?
But the part that really matters is how much more damage does it add;
I know that scribe adds a max of approx. 3 or 4 points of damage. I'm tired from work, so I don't feel like doing the math for either and I don't know what 30% of the accepted approx. damage of a dexers hit would be off the top of my head.
