Nuttin Honey

Postby Vin Decatur » Tue May 01, 2012 11:21 pm

Answer: Nuttin' Honey.
Question: What are we doing?

It started with confusion.
Why's the calendar blank?
According to the people that believe the stuff about the Mayan calendar
THE WORLD IS ENDING!!

BTW
If the world is ending and your gonna be gone...
can I have your stuff?

I assumed that Chalnoth was busy and felt we could fend for ourselves.
Unless the world is ending and he was told.
Nah.

I envy not Chalnoth.
It has to be a ton of work to keep up with all the stuff to run PAS.
Kudos, my friend.
I'll stick to raconteuring.

Now, for the young, I became a raconteur due to a person posting about being bored...
(years ago).
Several people with nothing to do.....that is time for some crazy stuff!
That's what you guys think, right?

Actually, crazy stuff is more fun when it just happens.
Maybe it just happens to me, a lot.
Most likely it is what I think of as normal behavior.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Here is how the raconteur brain operates:

Run = PAS Event
Error 'PAS Event' not found
Run Routine "Do What"
Do what = 1) What are others doing = 'sifting sand'
Sifting sand < fun
Do else
2) Do something for guild, 'Collect bones'
collect bones = alone, vision of Vin trapped in that room
collect bones < smart
Do else
3) gain Valor so Vin can start a champ spawn if required. - doable
Run "Gain Valor"
Select location Ilsh

And off I go.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

I spy two HKV killing the spawn around the Champ area outside the Humility shrine.
They are fighting spiders and scorpions.
I ask if I may smite some spawn for the valor.
I'm told to help myself, it isn't like they can finish the spawn.

Vin smiteth stuff.
Vin is valor added.
The spawn changes to Terathon stuff.
Vin gets more of that tasty Valor.
Poison Elles and Avengers a la Terathon.
I'm a valor adding like crazy.
I notice three things:
1. I am all alone.
2. There isn't much spawn...what gives...
3. Mephitis

I look at Mephitis. For several minutes I just stand there.
The brain freezes and has to reboot.

Now what.
What are ya going to do?
Nuttin' honey....
nah.
How can I resist that!!!!
A champ.
Just standing there, all sexy and what not.
Just begging to be killed.
I look around and think.
Umm, there me
and there's Mephitis.
Still....
I can't leave.
Just can't.
Umm.
I page the guild for anyone interested in fightin' Mephitis.
How can you resist, he is just standing there!
Okay.
What slayer.
Spider.
I got that.
Let's roll Mephitis.
Waaiittt....
Luv's said 'where'.
If you don't love Luv's, I'm gonna whoop you.
Just there for fun and helping people.
Don't tell her, but she is a raconteur at heart.
Luv's and Ghost arrive.
Thank you, thank you.
Now, I can die in company.
Not only is Luv's great but her husband, Ghost, is either fearless or as dumb as I am.
He does look awfully manly in that death robe.
All sexy and dead.
We deicde to wait on others that begin to arrive.
Kallan shows up. With a dragon, no less.
Joyce shows up.
WOOT.
We all die.
Not at the same time!
Duh.
We kills that thing!
It rains gold.
I am tickled.
PAS rocks.
I am used to prowling alone, but
it is so cool having people show up to help
when you are NOT in trouble.
Just for the fun of it.
That rocks!

And the night started with ; What are we doing?
Nuttin' honey.

Vin

Please don't tell me I forgot somebody!

Like I said, I'll stick to raconteuring. :)

Have a drawing where 4 or 5 winners will each get to pick what we do for a week. Make it six, you design two weeks and there goes two months of trying to please evreybody.
You can then say "Hey, I didn't pick this weeks events. Don't blame me because we're roasting bunnies and taming rats. Blame that low-life Vin."

I am not volunteering, but there is no reason you have to do this all by yourself.

You can assign a Historical Places Tour if people are interested. I'll need someone to open gates, but I will let them keep the rune book. I have a book for the guild too.

I'm also working on a 'strange location - what is this' tour. There is some weird stuff out there....and I'm not talking about me, this time.

This is a GREAT Idea!

Reply to this tread if you want in!

Here is your chance to pick the events for a whole week of PAS fun. Everyone that responds will be entered, random roll will decide 4 winners. I will post your picks, so don't worry about doing the calendar. A week of spwaning or maybe peerless are your thing, what ever floats your boat....the week is yours.

Luvs week

Postby Luvs Harmony » Sun May 06, 2012 6:18 pm

Let me take a stab at this!

Monday – Harrower! Unless there’s not enough people. Then we watch Luvs dig holes in various places to see what happens. Bring your own drinks.

Tuesday – Harrower!! Unless there’s not enough people. If the latter is the case, we will search for treasure. Refreshments will be provided.

Wednesday – Harrower!!! Unless there’s not enough people. Another option is that we visit various places throughout Trammel and try our hand at excavations. Refreshments will be provided and participants will be encouraged to partake of them. Don’t worry if you can’t remember much of what happened. We had a great time.

Thursday – Harrower!!!! Unless there’s not enough people. In the event of a shortage of participants, we’ll do an old fashioned pirate hunt for treasure. At this point, refreshements are a must. Enough to blot out what we did for the last 3 days.

Saturday – Harrower!!!!! Unless there’s not enough people. That being the case, we’ll igday orfay easturetray. No alcohol allowed. I want you people fresh tomorrow!

Sunday – Harrower!!!!!! Unless there’s not enough people. If there’s not enough people, then you leave me no choices but to do treasure maps. So make sure there’s enough people!

I would like to suggest some variety - a joust, pvp one/one tournaments, masquerade/costume ball, community faire, guild party, etc.

Better get your suggestions posted.

Hey, Chalnoth.
We should also schedule nights where we divide up and go gathering keys for various events. That way teh same people don't have to do it all the time.

Ask not what PAS can do for YOU....

We do schedule collecting Melisandre keys as an event. Unfortunately all the other peerless boss keys expire in 12 hours so you essentially have to collect them the day of.

NOT MANY REPLIES HERE...LOOKS LIKE THOSE WHO HAVE POSTED WILL GET TO SET OUR AGENDA.

I didn't think about those timers. Well, when possible, count me in as willing to assist in key gathering. Sometimes i'll be able and some i won't.

Okie then another suggestion...since you still haven't told me to sit down and shut up.

Mix up the three weeks posted. That way we don't do the harrower 7 days in a row. :)

I ran jousting events for PAS a long time ago. I have 10 or so Luna Lances available for that. Otherwise, I am not ready to lead that event. If Kaylor wants to do it maybe he can lead it.
Things to consider for that event - armor allowed or not, jewelry allowed or not. GM made dull copper armor is good to use as it has lower requirements and you can dress everyone the same.
I like naked jousting but it always leads me to making 'poking you with my large shaft' comments. Sigh, sometiems I'm such a sleaze....or all the time.

How ever the organizers want to run it if. I have a collection of UBW Lance about 30 with various mods as found. We have had "luck of the draw" type jousts with these before. You roll and pick a number in order of the roll sorta thing so yu may get one with some DI or other bump or a plain jane. I myself prefer just a robe so as to keep the armor and jewelry on the same playing field.
