City Trade Minister Quests?

Was reading the start up screen when I launch my UO, and it talks about what has changed in the latest publish and all. What I'm wondering about is the City Trade Minister Quests. I found one in Trinsic but when I click on him the text is not complete and won't let me move it. I donated some ingots to the crate nearby and he spoke but I think that is for the loyalty to the city thing. The way it sounded it would be like the fishing thing where you get so many fish and deliver to another port and get points.
Anyone have any information?

I believe you are reading the info on the upcoming publish (86?). It's on test center, but hasn't gone live yet to shards.
I think they added a few things in preparation for the new publish (like the neon mushrooms at Luna bank), but they aren't fully functional yet.

Someone said in vent the other day they thought they were for the upcoming publish.
Could be the EM event though, I don't follow that storyline.

Depending on the rewards (aside from titles) it might be worth traveling by foot and/or ship to deliver goods to other cities, but if titles are all we get then it may not be worth it. I guess we wait and see.

I posted a reply from my phone that got eaten by poor signal. Anyway...
I went to an EM event a couple weeks ago where they took us out to some remote island to fight baddies. The island had been invaded by variously colored blob type things, including mushrooms that looked like the ones in Luna. They had been sent by some water people (or something like that) who had their undies in a bunch because of some travesty we had committed. You know, the usual drama.
Oh, the blobs and 'shrooms and such were not the baddies--they were just backdrop.
