Arms lore benefitDoes anyone know where to go about the arms lore advantage or add on for a crafter?? They put it on Five on Friday, and I cannot find it anymore
Tried to find the post. Couldn't.
+5 resists for a GM Arms lore for ANY armor crafted. Thats Carp, Tailoring and Smithing. The +5 is randomly scattered across all the resists. A total of 5, not 5 per resist. It HAS to be exceptionaly made or no Arms Lore bonus added to the item! And +5 DI to ANY crafter weapon, again has to be exceptional. This is cumulative with any runic kit or hammer. Runic saws and fletching kits too.
Found this on the UO website under Pub 44
Arms Lore has been changed: * Arms Lore will increase when weapons and armor are crafted * When a weapon is exceptionally crafted, the damage increase modifier will increase by 1% per 20 points of Arms Lore. * When a piece of armor (not including shields) is exceptionally crafted, it will receive a resist bonus based on the crafter’s Arms Lore skill. For every 20 points of Arms Lore, one resist normally available on that piece of armor will be raised by 1, for a total possible bonus of 5 distributed randomly. (Ex. At GM Arms Lore, the total resist bonus is +5%. One resist could receive the full +5% bonus. Alternatively, one resist could receive +2%, and three other resists could receive +1%, for the total of +5%. ) hope that helps Eleanor
I wonder if being human gives you the +1 by default? Will have to try later.
I am still wondering when the +5 DI kicks in or if it is gradual also. Maybe I should try to make a weapon and see what happens.
