I am looking for a trapped box for my PvPer. Last night a good friend made me one but it would not harm me. So I went and created one just to find the same results.

Does anyone know if the trap boxes still work or if they are bugged? I really need to get one working for my PvPer since I droped resists

All I know is it needs made with explosion and a mid level tinkerer so it doesn't do to much damage.

I had one that I lifted off a red, that was a dart trapped box that worked, but it had to be facing a certain way in the backpack. I want to say facing north (so that it ran east-west), if it faced differently it didn't work. I lost the box and haven't gotten another yet. My tinker'er is GM so I figure the boxes I make would be a bit on the strong side.

I tried with explode.

It does not work. Tried N-S and E-W facing.

However magic trap does work (1 time anyways) so I'll use that for now.

I know a couple of people are working their tinkering up, so maybe if you all figure out exactly what works and what not, we might be able to talk them into making up a bunch for members to use. I know we can store some at the crafters house for people to be able to pick up.

I've heard trapped boxes made by a 30 skill tinker. Hope that helps.

Use a char with 0 magery (like a dexxer) and trap about 50 boxes with magic trap scrolls. Those will work, and won't do much damage, due to them being trapped by a 0 magery character.

Thats a cool method i never heard of, but they are only one use and in a fight you are better off with the neverending dart smack from a low level trap. But man thats a new one! I got to try that out!
