Talk about anything that's clean.

Dor used to do tours from the YMCA of famous and unique places in Sonoma. Vin wanted to do this with PAS's newer players. We agreed that this knowledge is going away and needs to be gathered and shared.
If you are old (KD) and know of some places that should be in this book, please let me know. I would really appreciate help.
BTW Malachai's new keep is in a 'famous' spot. It used to be a large player run city there known as Sanctuary. All gone now.
If you think you can help. Please let me know.
Right now, I am seeking Lady Birmingham's grave, Lady Bree's grave, there was a Mage's castle that was destroyed but remnants remained, any others you can think of!
Thanks!

And yes, he (she) was the pompous player I referred to in that post.

heres a still-working link to old names ... they may also list places etc.
http://www.angelfire.com/fl/themacuo/
Just click "Sonoma" and you get a list of some of the old school players back in the first 2 yrs or so on Sonoma.
Also, I checked all 33 of KDs runebooks that he carries (yeah I know ...), and I found a few for:
Bucs Den tunnels fel side
Town of Sanctuary (fel, east of swamp thats east of brit (house there is UBB bod sorting keep)
Tink Greentree's tram island house, very unusual as its a small island in a lake near a shrine (Ciara owns that now)
Town of Darkmoor (no houses now, its an ice valley in Malas)
some of these arent real old school, or even towns, but they were unique places I found among KDs runes.
Let me know if you want me to gate you to any or mark runes for you.

Calnoth,
I'm also working on strange things found around. We all see stuff that fell from IDOCs and stayed. I'm marking old Guild Stones I found. (Fighting Lions is just down from my house). I would definetly like to check out what you have.

KD,
My friend. I never met Lady B. In those days I ignored my surroundings - how sad and silly was that? I did know about a third of the people on that Sonoma list. Maybe one (beside you) might remember me. Although, I don't think you and I knew each other back then. But, her stuff is unique to Sonoma so I need to include her grave. I 'll take you there and you can expel any fluids you want on her grave. I always got the feeling that Lady B was in a 'click' that included her and several others. So, I stayed away and did my own thing. Heck, I thought you were part of that click until I actually hung out with you and found out that PAS really did not look down on people that weren't as 'leet' as others. (Like many others did back then.)
I would enjoy making a tour of your spots sometime and marking runes.
If everyone shares their runes then maybe we won't lose this history.
PAS will get a couple copies of everything when I am done.

yes, Lady Bree was definitely in a clique. Another related story is how Grunk half Orc of BLD and I met with Lady Bree to discuss PAS and BLD not participating in the FoA (Followers of Armageddon) ingame fiction.
It was funny how that developed. UO had a fiction that Lord British was trying to stop the FoA from destroying the world with a spell they had learned.
As it turns out, SAS (one of the bad guy red guilds) joined the Lord British side, and then BLD decided to support the FoA. Everyone assumed the red guilds would support FoA and the blues would support LB.
Well, I thought about it and decided to steal the story line from UO (much as Vin is doing now), and announced that PAS was on the side of FoA. I explained that, in line with the KD story, PAS had gone to Nappa to help fight pks there, and when we returned to Sonoma, no one knew us. That explained why everyone would not recognize KD as the King of Sonoma.
So ... I explained that PAS believed that the reason that LB wanted FoA imprisoned was that FoA developed a spell that would turn off the spell that LB threw to make everyone forget about KD and PAS on Sonoma.
You would not believe how many friends of mine sent nasty icqs once they heard we were supporting FoA! I also reminded them that BLD was our ally (among many) in the Sonoma Alliance, and we were supporting them in this.
So ... the first 3 times that LB (and the good guys) tried to move a captured FoA member for trial, the FoA supporters were able to release them (fairly easily too). That ticked off the UO devs etc, and thats when Lady Bree met Grunk and I to discuss PAS and BLD withdrawing from the FoA side so the ingame fiction would work like it was supposed to.
All during our 10 min meeting, Grunk is icqing me "Lets kill her!" rofl.
I rattled off totally unreasonable demands like NJ would have all the guards removed, that the NJ Palace would be relabeled the Palace of KD, that the chests in the Palace would be turned into containers that only PAS members could use, etc etc.
Well, Grunk sent me one last icq "Im gonna kill her!", and she recalled out.
As she left he said ingame "Damn almost got her!" or something like that.
it was funny as heck. But yes, she obviously had close ties with UO devs etc (and btw it was a guy that played that char).
Anyways, I've also got a few crazy runes to weird spots, but Chalnoth has way more of those than I do, because he took me to several once.
I'll try to get ingame and find u this weekend to share those runes.

KD,
I'm old and actually remember a lot of this story. Again, I was aware of some of it and recall the FOA event but I was not really involved. Our new theft of their story is very similar. Like you, I don't care about their plot. I'll twist their plot to fit our story.
Ysgeler is preparing...
(The dangerous part is that I rarely play Ysgeler, two others will be taking turns. Which may explain why she has multiple personalities. How could Vin be assisting to destroy her if I play her. LOL)
