PAS is an inclusive Guild. We have members literally from all walks of life, all economic situations and many corners of the US and world. We have very few rules and expect that mutual respect and adult behavior will suffice to manage daily interactions of our membership. We try to hold events that will meet the playing desires of all players over the month and ALL ALLIANCE members are ALWAYS welcome to published PAS Events. That said, I want to address some expressed concerns regarding Non-event play.
PAS members have a wide variety of playing styles and types of game play they desire. Outside of PAS events there should be no expectation of invitation or inclusion into any hunt or other activity being done by a member or other group of players. Groups involved in play should be willing to entertain requests but are under no obligation to invite ANY other players to Non-Event activities. Every player of UO has specific goals (skills, items, conquests, etc.) they may be pursuing at any given time and being excluded from a Non-Guild event should not be considered a personal slight. There are more than enough open activities happening every day and grousing about what others may be doing in game is neither mature nor productive.
It should also be recognized that players join a Guild for the opportunity it presents to accomplish things not possible alone. And that it is extremely important for the long term survival of any guild to be wary of the creation of clique's. It was for this reason that PAE was retired. I will be watchful and not tolerant of persistent exclusions or the perceived establishment of elite or private teams.
