What a game! And for the first time ever, the Princesses watched the end of the game and asked "who are we dad?" rofl It took as long time but they are Sooners now.

Janice and I had 22 heart attacks between us (21 for me and one for her thinking about my 21 heart attacks).

That was the best game OU has played since we beat Florida State for the national championship in 2000-2001. Alabama is an awesome football team, loaded with future NFL players. We just played an almost perfect game to win it.

Maybe that kid gave us the edge .... last Sunday morning I went grocery shopping like I always do with my OU hat, tshirt and basketball shorts.

A man drove up behind me and said "Sir, this gentleman in the back seat wants to tell you something". I thought he might say Hook Em Horns, but it was a 3 or 4 yr old boy in a carseat and he yelled BOOMER! I laughed and yelled back SOONER! The dad smiled and the kid had a huge smile.

Ah the joys of being a Sooner fan amongst all these Longhorns.

I had a friend ask me one time what it was like to live in the land of the enemy (Texas Longhorns).

I said that Sean Connery said it best in Indiana Jones when they were witnessing the book burning in Berlin. "Son, we are pilgrims in an unholy land".
