Tanis is a 120/120 swordsman parry. He's got no skill points to spare but can drop a bit 'o resist and chiv if need be.

What is warrior vamp form good for and how do I do it with min skill points?

Convince me, teach me. I won't be PvPing much on Tanis, if any.

vamp form is viable so long as you aren't a mage...

35 is the bare minimum, and you gotta have a BUNCH of items to take you to GM.

+5 Bloodwood spirit
+15 ring
+15 bracelet
+10 Osmian Grimore (spellbook)
+20 Midnight Bracers

Takes you to GM
but like I said, a bunch of items and VERY expensive.

But only good vamp form will do for you now is immunity for level 1-4 poisons and mana regen, and some hp leech from what you damage.

Have a high damage output and you'll be hard to kill either PvM or PvP.

And it only costs you 35 skill points and about 50 mil in gold for the items, if you can find them all for sale.

I can do it all except the brace/ring and bracers. What are the bracers going for? Jewels can be found.

Now, if I cast it on myself and die do I have to recast it? If I cast it on myself and then stoned skills back will it stay? If I die do I have to recast it?

If you die yes you will have to recast it, so keep these items in your backpack insured.
create an undress/dress alternate macro in UOA to switch when you gotta cast it again.
you get the idea.

And good luck getting those bracers, they're expensive IF you can find them.

you also loose the ability to drink cure pots of any kind, and you loose a little karma everytime you cast vampiric embrace. But the only time you need a cure pot is lvl 5 poison, which chiv will take care of.

however, vampiric embrace also has some great stamina regen as well as the mana regen.

Okay cool, thanks for the info. Found the Mid bracers today, now looking for jewels, I have the bloodwood spirit and will token the necro spellbook.

Think it'll be great, all I have to do is play with armor now to keep fire resist up up.

I hate building suits needing only all 60s...

Vamp suits are damn near impossible.

Good place to start is a set of leggings of bane and a tunic of fire.

Looks like I got a 70x5 with vamp form suit with 100 DI (with weapon) and decent MR/SR/DCI/HCI. Just need the jewels now...please.....

Will have to check on my vendor in the desert by Umbra I only stock max skill/stat/dam increase/ jewels. I am pretty sure I saw at least one jewel item that was +15 necro. Of course that will have to wait untill I get off of work in 12 hours..........
