The Erlking is a mischievous sprite, also equivalent to a reaper, Who lures young children to their death. Goethe wrote a beautiful poem about him and Schubert put it to music. The first time I heard the song I was in my mid teens. I was so overcome with emotion; I felt like the music entered the core of my sole.

Every year in October the veil between the living and dead thins. Come out Thursday October 18th at 6 PT . Meet at the west Brit Counselor Hall.
