Wow, that was the least amount of times I died at a PAS event. :)

Then again, I did hang back a lot at the beach.

And Ayra had my bar ,plus everyone else close, and was healing as fast as she could..

Anywho, that was a fun time.. We (me and Arya) just hung out, I checked the rooms and if it was needed we ran in so I could cover her while she used Mori's rez scrolls. And when rooms where done, I moved in to distract the DF's (euphamism for being killed by) while she tried to grab everyones bar....

Anywho, I had a blast hanging out with my daughter, while she went crazy trying to learn how to grab bars, keep her old man alive, and rez any unfortunates that wandered by...

All in all, a good event , and I look forward to the next one.........

well I am glad she made it ok as I had some concerns when she followed the first wave to Doom bell and she was not in our party, I kept telling her to return to NJ as we all jump on the barge to cross the river since she was all alone and I could see undead rushing to greet her even as we jump to the decks of our boat.

Yeah, that didn't go over so well with me either. Luckily, her PC is right next to mine so I can talk to her directly and see what she was doing. I had a long talk with her about listening and following instructions. Hopefully that won't happen again...

I just hung back healing and rezzing, too. I only stayed about 40 minutes as I had a Parent-Teacher conference at my sons school. I missed helping Arya when she got killed one time. Sorry.
I thought she did a good job in there. She deserves an 'atta girl'. :D

When my youngest first started playing I actually watched over his shoulder. The first day I let him go on his own, he falls for Thrax's tricks. Oh the wife was P.O.'d and tore into poor Thrax. LOL
I figured, lesson learned. Just because someone says their a nice guy doesn't mean anything!
I try to keep him pointed to PAS and he is currently in PAS as Kagioshi and I think one other char. He drifts towards HELP a lot as many of them were the people that picked him up and dusted him off after Thrax got him.

The older son is old enough to make his own choices and learn to live with his mistakes.

Arya will be fine. Huzzah to Arya!

its awesome to see you having so much fun, garrett! I know from experience that its a blast to be able to play UO with my kids.

Kids are incredibly resilient, and learn so fast (dang sponges).

Mine started UO at age 2 and 6 (yep Kelli was 2 and she loved playing a bow girl in UO), and Ive loved watching them grow up and play ingame and for Kelli how she interacts with a number of PAS, in vent and ingame.

I'm really glad that Arya is having fun ... I can tell that on vent when shes along on the events. And thats the whole point of UO in my opinion, to have fun.

Its also nice to see how many PAS are protective of her at events, thats how we operate and its awesome.

Cya both ingame soon!
