Richard Garriott's Ultima Online 2 in 2 days?

Hey everyone. I hope you're all doing great.

I'm sure some of you are aware that Richard Garriott (Lord British) has a software company called Portalarium, and he has been developing a game called Ultimate RPG that he intends to be the successor of Ultima Online.

He's got a new site up in the last 2 days: http://www.lordbritishpresents.com/

It's a sign up page with a count down. the countdown ends in 2 days. I don't know what it's for, but it might be an announcement with a release date or something for UO2. Anyway, I'm super pumped.

this sounds interesting but what sounds even better is hearing from a long time friend whom we havent seen in forever how are you and the family doing how is the baby who isnt a baby doing growing fast i know chloe turns 2 this month and im just like OMG where did the time go

Hey. Yea, I'm good. The baby whom I have named 'yourmom' said today for the first time, "my daddy noob" I was so proud. He's also said "get carried" and "kill noobs" before. He's 2.

I'm so pumped to see what "Lord British" is announcing tomorrow. It's probably some terrible facebook farmville version of Ultima, but I can hope...

hahaha, yes, that was the motivation.

Looks like Shroud of the Avatar will be a single player Ultima game where you can kind of play co-op or have your friends exist in your world... with player housing. I'm thinking of it as Diablo where you don't have to join the game your friends are in to play with them. Sounds ok if I was looking for Diablo with houses instead of Ultima Online 2.
